This is what I see.  Ecco cosa vedo:

The path from the left is life proceeding from the past.
Il cammino da sx è la vita che incede dal passato.

The path from the right are the expectations receding from the future. Il cammino da dx sono le aspettative che recedono dal futuro.

In the crab canon is our state of mind, during the course of our life, punctuated by the dreams of what has yet to come. Il canone inverso rappresenta il nostro stato d’animo, nel corso della vita, imbevuto dei sogni per ciò che verrà.

Once half-way, we walk into life’s sunset ever more conscious of interpreting a future that had always been in harmony with our past. Arrivati nel mezzo del cammino, ci avviamo verso la sera della vita sempre più consci di stare interpretando un futuro da sempre in armonia con il nostro passato.

And the dreams become memories. E i sogni diventano ricordi. 

And the older we become, the more we rediscover the child that we were. E più invecchiamo più ridiventiamo bambini.

Everything matters.  Tutto conta.
