Concorde in our cœurs

One August night in Paris a convergence
of yuppies with a thirty year delay
was greeted by the rain in a resurgence
of talks of p&l and end of day

The metro and the railways and the skies
delivered all the packets without fail
The beers the wine the laughter were the prize
for a successful merge of global scale

Maison Saint Honoré Rubis Chateau
with Duc Henri Cathy herding us all
were milestones of an evening fast and slow
of multi-threaded answers to a call

A call so many heeded without peur
that ended with a climb at Sacré Cœur
